Food

Foodie

So I fancy myself as a bit of a foodie. Recently I went to Novikov (Asian restaurant) and I have to say after hearing lots of rather mediocre reviews, I happened to really enjoy the food. The service truly was worth the 12.5% obligatory charge as the waitress explained the menu in great detail and pointed out what the halal options were. She also showed me that you could pick your own fresh fish and have it cooked how you want, which I found for people who don't like sticking to menus was perfect because it made the experience of eating out more flexible.

In terms of the quality of the food, it wasn't the best food I've ever had but it was still very satisfying. The portions were actually quite big, so you couldn't feel bad about the price of the food because it was semi- reasonable. However you don't just pay for the food, the ambience was lively, and though it was a little noisy, it reflected city life after work hours.

I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, whether you are going as a group of friends, a couple or family. There are plenty of halal dishes, fish dishes and vegetarian dishes. It's a nice treat and the whole experience is really enjoyable.

A x
